Gavin DeGraw aka Mr. Plagiarismo

Have you ever wondered why your favourite music then sounds like your favourite music now? Is it a plain coincidence...or is it plagiarism?

Here's why I came up with this issue...

It was like any other day, I was at home completing my grueling Add Maths homework. Before I went to take a walk with the Monkey Man, I decided to turn on the radio and listened to some contemporary hits on 98.7 fm...

Minutes later, this particular song went on. When I heard the intro of the song, I had a gut feeling that it was an Oasis song. Until....

I realised that it was the new single from Gavin DeGraw called Cheated on Me .....

Shite, I was bamboozled by this song and I knew that there was something fishy about the intro of the song.

Then, I went on to listen Where Did it All Go Wrong? by Oasis and it struck me.....

Both songs seemingly have the same intro!

Since Where Did it All Go Wrong? was released in 2000 and Gavin DeGraw's Cheated on Me was released 3 months ago, it came to my senses that the dude who did the theme song for One Tree Hill plagiarised one of Rock's greatest bands.

But...the difference between the two songs is that Where Did it All Go Wrong? is about the singer contemplating on his failures and asks himself, "Where did all go wrong?"

Then, Mr. DeGraw's Cheated on Me is about the singer who suspects that his soulmate is having an affair and cheating on him...

Here are two music videos featuring the two songs I mentioned:

Now, you be the judge..compare these two songs and tell me what you think...

Living Life in Technicolour

At last, I found something interesting to write...

Guess what Coldplay fans? The music video for Life in Technicolor II is finally out and it's yet to broadcast on the TV screens...

This is so far their first (or second) single from their EP Prospekt's March...I don't know if Lost+ counts as their single...

Truthfully, I find my music video quite entertaining and hilarious. Besides that, this music video is also according to my perspective one of their most creative videos (that also goes with other videos like The Scientist, Don't Panic, Lovers in Japan and much more...)

Wondered what the shite was I talking about? Here's the video for your 'visual satisfactory', hehe...

Boredom Galore

Seriously? is there anything good to write?

Boredom. This is so far the only word that I could say when I hear about things, seriously. Nothing these days seem to interest me except the fact that Man United kicked Chelsea's arse, with Jose Mourinho in the audience...(ah, the awkwardness...)

As I wait for 2009's most anticipated movies to start at May, let's just hope that something interesting pops out of the box once in a while for you viewers to share(yes, I mean you..)

I guess I should stop here right now. Let's hope that my next blog update is something interesting for you to share....

2009 Starts...But Not Without A Bang...

So, it's a new start of a new year. It's a new beginning of my blog, since I've got lots to talk about this year...

To me, the start of the new year was like a Bittersweet Symphony, I got 2A 4B 1C for my PMR but I'm still satisfied. But the worst part is that I spent the first few days of 2009 in a bloody hospital...(f*** that!)

Well, the only reason I got myself sleeping inside a hospital ward is that I kena tortured by headaches, dehydration and constant puking....due to the fact that I never went partying during the new year...

When I got discharged, I found out that I was having some bloody sickness called 'Acute Gastroentiritis'. I don't know what the shite does that mean but I think it has something to do with some gastric sickness....

Alright, story's over. Now with that left behind, I now decide to spend 2009 with the best that I could...
