Movie Reviews Within 3 Minutes

Whoa, it has been a really long time since I actually published a blog article. Looks like the stress of school has got the best of me...

While going through the stress, I've watched a few movies lately and I'm not gonna give a full-length review on the flicks I've watched. So, I'm gonna give you a review which you can read within 3 minutes...

Sherlock Holmes - Good plot, great action and so on...Robert Downey Jr. really was the centre of the movie as Sherlock Holmes, making him a likeable character though he acted like a carbon copy of Captain Jack Sparrow. I guess he really deserved that Golden Globe. (4/5 stars)

Universal Soldier: Regeneration(aka A New Beginning) - What the hell is this awful piece of shit? C'mon, I expected this one to be a fun, exciting action-fest but the action is dull, plot is empty and the characters looked like they were played by stinkin' robots! Bringing Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren is the worst idea possible since they could barely act...Besides, they really do feel like their age...(1/5 stars)

Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief - They could have done better on this one. Even though they have some cool concepts in this movie, but the plot is almost un-original, the acting is quite boring, and the storyline is too predictable. Plus, Pierce Brosnan has a horse's ass. (3/5 stars)

Tooth Fairy - From the Rock to the Tooth Fairy. Dwayne Johnson should really stop making PG-rated family movies. I don't wanna see the Rock flying in fairy wings, I want to see him fly to shoot some dude in the ass. (2/5 stars)

The Spy Next Door - Okay, remember The Pacifier with Vin Diesel? Just take him out and put Jackie Chan in it and you will get almost the same plot. The action was too plain since it has almost the same action sequences from Jackie Chan's previous movies. Jackie Chan should really speak English often as he struggles with his lines, as shown in the bloopers. (3/5 stars)

Overall, Sherlock Holmes is the only good movie I've watched. Honorable mentions are Inglorious Basterds and Public Enemies........

Cheers,
