Whatever

I'm free...to be whatever I
Whatever I choose and I'll sing the blues
If I want...

Yes people, SPM is officially over! I have done my Bible Knowledge and I am done for good. I am no longer a student in SMK Dato Usman Awang. It's about time I leave school because I've prepared for my last hurrah for eight days...Eight days!

Wow, time flies so fast and it's all over. My five years in secondary school are done and there's no turning back. As I stepped out of school for the last time, the memories start coming back to me. I'm not like people who cry uncontrollably when things come to an end but I do not miss my school...I only miss the times when I spent with my friends. That's what's important, the memories that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. But please do not be overemotional about this, just because you're not gonna see your friends in school doesn't mean you'll not see them for good. Then what's the use of Facebook?

When I started off as a secondary student in 2006, I was pledged to study there for five years. Somehow I didn't settle in my first secondary school due to issues and conflicts but my friends and I buried the hatchet and we remained friends. Looks like the shit I've done is all history, and it has been great ever since...

Then I moved to SMK Dato Usman Awang and I met new and old friends. My class of 4/5 Science of 2009/2010 may not be the self-proclaimed best class ever but I've had a blast being in that class. No matter the good or bad memories, it's better off that you remember the good memories and the bad memories to be shit memories. Does that make sense? I guess not...

That's the picture of the rambunctious 5 Science during Teacher's Day during our happy days. Well, this is our only time we were happy. But of course like I said, I've had a blast...

This is what I'll cherish the most and never forget until I grow old. Besides school, I've had the time of my life with my friends in the Etika Ilmu Tuition Centre, particularly the Physics Class I entered. This class was filled with my friends from SMK Dato Usman Awang, my former school SMK Seri Perling and other schools but we had a lot of laughs during tuition even during our crucial period.

We even took our fun out of the tuition centre and decided to have a party.......during the mid year. It's good timing but after SPM is perfect timing. What the heck, we did have fun, right?

Since I'll be turning 18 the next year, looks like I'll take my party semangat to a whole new level, with booze! Once I turn 18, drinking will not be a crime for me but a privilege! To tell you the truth, I can't wait for what the future holds but I'm nervous because I'm not 100% sure that my dreams can be achieved but I should remain optimistic, of course. Remember people, just make the best of your future and do not throw it away. Or else, you will end up like my friends during our SPM, tired and exhausted.

Exhibit A:

For most of you, I bet you did a grand send-off by throwing your books, uniforms of exam slips or shouting at the top of your lungs or destroy your school, but I remained subtle and just hung my torn school shoes in the school area. I was about to throw my shoes but I left a mark that I was there, I overcame the obstacles, and I got my arse out of school for good!

Wonder what they'll do with my shoes? Simple, throw it! Besides that, I torn my exam slip and SPM schedule and it felt great. No, I burned my exam slip! How ya like the sound of that? Want some proof? NAH!!!

That's what's left of my exam slip. A big hole's not enough, maybe I should burn the entire piece of paper....

As one door closes, another door opens. Time to celebrate Christmas!

Therefore, I say no more...

Cheers,
-Tim-
